Earlier, Gaga attended the screening of Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby with her boyfriend and Vampire Diaries star Taylor Kinney on May 9 and also performed onstage briefly in the Big Apple bar with jazz musician Brian Newman last week.

However, Gaga and her boyfriend Taylor Kinney arrived in New York to watch Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s classic story, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan. After the screening, Caliche Rum hosted a after-party with stars like Gerard Butler, Rachel Zoe and Miranda Kerr.

However, Gaga didn’t attend the party; instead she made a subtle exit from the screening area without attracting too much attention from the paparazzi.

Currently, Gaga is prepping for the launch of her upcoming third solo album, ARTPOP, later this year. Gaga’s first album, The Fame was launched in 2009, while her second album, Born This Way, was released in 2011.

Rosanna Scotto, co-anchor of Fox’s Good Day New York told viewers the next morning that the movie screening was delayed for about a half hour as there were two unoccupied seat.

Eventually, Gaga and Taylor showed up and the lights got dimmed all of a sudden. Scotto also said that she was happy to find the Born This Way singer tall and walking. She added that Gaga looked slim and in fighting shape.

According to NY Post, the 27-year-old was in no mood to deal with the waiting paparazzi, so before the credits rolled on, Gaga left the premise via a side door next to the stage.

Anne Ljubinković, a fashion designer based in Serbia, has confirmed that the Poker Face hitmaker has contacted her to buy some pieces from her latest Never Forever collection and the Gaga has specified them for the album’s promo.

In a translated interview Anne gave to Svet, she said that Gaga wanted to buy some of her latest collection she sent to New York, which will be used for the promotional activities for her new record. She, however, didn’t know if the outfits will be used in the photos or a video or something else.

Meanwhile, Life & Style citing a source reported that Gaga won’t be ready for any performance until September. The source continued that she’s relaxing and recuperating from her hip surgery and started walking again, but she needs clearance from the doctors if she wants to perform, which is very frustrating for her.
