Now here’s a musical that we did not see coming. Apparently there is word that pop singer Lady Gaga is planning to sing duet with legendary singer Tony Bennett. Tony’s CD is entitled “Duets II” and the compilation will also mark Tony’s 85th birthday. Also joining Tony on this CD is a host of other known singers including Mariah Carey, Amy Winehouse, John Mayer, Michael Buble and Aretha Franklin to name a few.Fans of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett can expect to see this CD in stores on in September. Just last week Lady Gaga expressed her desire to record a jazz Christmas CD; it is not known the genre of music she may sing on the CD. However judging from Tony Bennett’s smooth jazz style, Lady Gaga may be leaning towards that genre on the CD after all.
