President Obama reportedly acknowledged his meeting with pop star Lady Gaga when he spoke to the Human Rights Campaign, which is a gay advocacy organization this past weekend. According to reports, President Obama was apparently intimated by the “Born This Way” singer. He told the audience “I appreciate the chance to join you tonight. I also took a trip out to California last week, where I held some productive bilateral talks with your leader, Lady Gaga.”
About his meeting with Lady Gaga, President Obama said “She was wearing 16-inch heels,” and then “She was 8 feet tall. It was a little intimidating.”
Lady Gaga had previously met the President at a fundraiser lobbying for anti-bullying policies and enforcement after a gay Buffalo teen was bullied and subsequently committed suicide.
